Prayer before sleeping
בְּרָכָה לִפְנֵי הַשֵּׁנָה
Blessed be the יהוה - our God, the King of the Universe, who binds sleep on my eyes and slumber on my lids.
And let it be Your will, O יהוה - my God, that I lay on the bed in peace and that I will get up from the bed in peace, do not let bad dreams oppress me and protect me from all misfortune.
Illuminate my eyes again, do not allow me to fall asleep into the sleep of the dead.
